Healing and a Home

…I am on my way to find a place to stay. Judges 17:9 (NKJV)

Time for another update for those of you following our MOLD STORY… in early October we are moving from our summer camper to a guest house near the one we stayed in last winter.  We could move a few weeks sooner, but thought it would be fitting to stay in the camper for the Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:34), the yearly time when Jews celebrate their pilgrimage in the wilderness after God delivered them from Egypt.  Do you remember how the Israelites quickly forgot the Lord’s great deliverance and miracles at the Red Sea?  They were yearning to go back to Egypt for the garlic and cucumbers (Numbers 11:5).  Those are actually two crops that did very well at our old house on Dry Creek.  The cucumbers were even so delicious and plentiful two years ago that at the time as we were eating them, I commented, “These must be the kind of cucumbers that made the Israelites want to return to Egypt!” Though we still miss it, we aren’t praying to go back to Egypt, just praying for that new place to call home.  

God continues to provide. While we were hoping to be in our permanent home by now, we count our blessings. We are so thankful for our camping summer at the home of a dear friend in a camper on-loan from other dear friends. We are so thankful for the owners who have invited us to stay in their guest house this winter, where we’ll have beds and indoor plumbing!  There will be many windows to let in the winter sunshine, and a gas stove to make it warm and cozy.  And our son will be able to have his chickens in the nearby field, just as he did all summer near the camper.  God is so good! 

And yet, “healing and a home, healing and a home, healing and a home”… we still cry out to the Lord over and over like the persistent widow of Luke 18, often praying David’s Psalms again and again for God says… Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me (Psalm 50:15) One day it struck me how healing and a home are two things we receive when we go to heaven. God promises us…

HEALING: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:  Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.  Psalm 103:2-3 (NKJV)

HOME:  Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-2 (NKJV)

Does this mean we must wait for heaven for healing and a home? No!  My friend Shannon reminds me when we pray the Lord’s Prayer, “on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10), we can ask for these gifts of healing and a home now.  And so, I continue to claim His promises that by His stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24) and that my God shall supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).  I was even lying in bed singing My Healing Song the other day when the pains were so awful.  I reminded Him, He is YHVH Rapha, our healing God, and YHVH Jireh, our provider! And I continue to praise Him and knock at His door with my prayers… on earth as it is in heaven, on earth as it is in heaven, on earth as it is in heaven.  

…The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him,
Who shelters him all the day long;
And he shall dwell between His shoulders.  Deuteronomy 33:12 (NKJV)

Today’s TEA CUPP:  Read 2 Corinthians 5:1-8. Along with healing and a home, what other gifts of heaven can we enjoy NOW while still in this world? Peace, joy, salvation… why not make a list and claim these promises for you and your family today?!  Dear one, I pray that whatever you are facing right now, you will persevere, wait on the Lord, be steadfast, press on, keep trusting Jesus, and continue to pour out your heart to Him in prayer.

My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation,
In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. Isaiah 32:18 (NKJV)

They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house,
And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. Psalm 36:8 (NKJV)

One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple. Psalm 27:4 (NKJV)

From Jenny’s Journal: 2 Samuel 6:14 Then David danced before the Lord with all his might… Then Jenny wrote before the Lord with all her might, even though she has a terrible tummy ache, and we are homeless.  But the sun is shining through the camper window and the sky is blue and we have Your Words of comfort and promise, Jesus, the hope of healing and a home here and now, and also someday in heaven. We have Your salvation because of Your work on the cross and the blood You shed (that drop was for me). We have Your Holy Spirit inside us to comfort and guide us,. And so, Abba Father, dearest Jesus, I lift my hands and heart and pen to You in a dance of praise! I love You so much! Be glorified today! Be glorified in my life! Be glorified in saving our nation! I come and worship and bow down and kneel before the Lord, my God, my Maker, be exalted above the heavens, may Your glory be over all the earth!

As At The First

…as at the first… Jeremiah 33:11 (NKJV)

The three-month Paint-the-States challenge recently concluded with prayers and prophetic acts across our nation.  Participants and prayer warriors are trusting Jesus to station His seraphim and see us through the coming storm.  

As I prayed each day for our nation, often walking over the nearby interstate bridge, I joined the thousands in “commanding the forward” for the United States, decreeing that we would return to the “forward” of our history, the vision of the founding fathers, the one nation under God.  Yet I also prayed for something more… I “commanded the forward” of God’s Book, the Holy Bible.  I prayed for a return to the Old Testament Laws, the Ten Commandments, the Sabbaths and Feast Days.  I know we are not saved by following theses Laws, for we are saved by the blood of our Savior Jesus, Yeshua Messiah.  Yet, as an act of repentance and to shine as lights in this world, we celebrate the Sabbath as a sign to others that we are God’s children.

There is a little phrase I’ve read again and again this year as I’ve followed the M”Cheyne Bible reading plan.  The words are… “as at the first.”  

We read this phrase when Moses returned to the mountain to receive the Ten Commandments a second time, after the Israelites’ golden calf failure…

And I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you committed in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger. Deuteronomy 9:18 (NKJV)

As at the first time, I stayed in the mountain forty days and forty nights; the Lord also heard me at that time, and the Lord chose not to destroy you.  Deuteronomy 10:10 (NKJV)

We read this phrase when Joshua attacked the City of Ai, after their first attempt without the Lord failed..

Then I and all the people who are with me will approach the city; and it will come about, when they come out against us as at the first, that we shall flee before them. For they will come out after us till we have drawn them from the city, for they will say, ‘They are fleeing before us as at the first.’ Therefore we will flee before them. Joshua 8:5-6 (NKJV)

We read this phrase when the Israelites fought their own brothers of the tribe of Benjamin because of their horrific Sodom and Gomorrah sins…

And the children of Benjamin said, “They are defeated before us, as at first.” But the children of Israel said, “Let us flee and draw them away from the city to the highways.” Judges 20:32 (NKJV)

We read this phrase when the Prophet Isaiah gave us hope of a time to come…

I will restore your judges as at the first,
And your counselors as at the beginning.
Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.  Isaiah 1:26 (NKJV)

We read this phrase again in Isaiah when he told of the lands of the coming Messiah…

Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed,
As when at first He lightly esteemed
The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
And afterward more heavily oppressed her,
By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,
In Galilee of the Gentiles.  Isaiah 9:1 (NKJV)

And we read this phrase when the Prophet Jeremiah told of the remnants’ return to Israel…

And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first.  Jeremiah 33:7 (NKJV)

This is not a new doctrine (Romans 16:17), it’s the old path found right in our Bibles (Jeremiah 6:16, Romans 15:4).  Father God allowed His children Sunday worship for a time as they separated themselves from the unbelieving Pharisees, but now He calls all people to repent, starting at the household of God.  My pastor used to say, “Today you can’t tell Christians from the rest of the world, we watch the same movies, go to the same stores, participate in the same activities… Perhaps God can’t tell the difference either, even as He looks at our hearts,  Let’s be a sign to our Father in heaven and to the world by celebrating Sabbaths and walking in His Law (Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:12 & 20). Be lights to the world and show our good works of obedience that He prepared for us beforehand (Ephesians 2:10).  And someday soon, the Great Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, our Savior Jesus, will come on the clouds in glory and make all things like the Garden of Eden, as at the first.

…who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17 (NKJV)

Today’s TEA CUPP:  Prayerfully consider how you can honor all God’s Commandments and shine your light into the darkness.  Read Exodus 20 and 23.  Let’s “Command the Forward” of our Bibles and return our nation to even better than it was at the first! 

Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16 (NKJV)

Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored;

Tea in the Storm

I first published this devotion on October 9, 2019, before covid, before the riots, before the 2020 elections, before January 6… I heard another storm of tsunami proportions is coming, a shaking this fall (2023) to bring our nation to its knees. Dear one, I tell you to fear not! Be steadfast, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer (Romans 12:12).  Keep trusting Jesus!

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2 (NKJV)

God has always been in the storms.  Ever since He created the earth, His Spirit has hovered over the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2).  Today with hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, blizzards, cancer, rushing children to hospitals, family difficulties, government corruption…we may wonder where God is.  Yet He is right there, ready to carry us through the storm. 

One Sunday our pastor gave a sermon on the passage from Mark 4:35-41 about Jesus calming the sea.  He pointed out for us in Mark 4:36 where it says, “And other little boats were also with Him.”  There are other little boats on the sea, too.  We aren’t the only ones in this storm.  Others need Jesus’ help and our example of faith.  Let’s ask Jesus to calm the storm for everyone. Today I give you a special TEA CUPP with verses from this story.

T for Thanksgiving:

He calms the storm,
So that its waves are still…
…Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!  Psalm 107:29,31 (NKJV)

 E for Exalting:

And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”  Mark 4:41 (NKJV)

A for Admitting:

But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful?  How is it that you have no faith?” Mark 4:40 (NKJV)

C for Calling:

Today’s TEA CUPP: Read the amazing story in Mark 4:35-41, The Sea is Stilled. Read Acts 27 or the book of Jonah for more storm stories. Use these verses as conversation starters in your prayer time with Jesus today, all week, or any time you or loved ones are going through a storm. You can claim God’s promise to still the waves.  You can wake Jesus up and ask Him, “Don’t You care?”  You can stand amazed at His miracles and proclaim, “Who is this, that even the wind and sea obey Him?”

The waters saw You, O God;
The waters saw You, they were afraid;

You rule the raging of the sea;

Calling the Seraphim

When[leaders lead in Israel,
When the people willingly offer themselves,
Bless the Lord!  Judges 6:2 (NKJV)

The Lord God has been calling His children to anoint the borders of the USA and its states this summer.  Many are doing so while on vacation or as they make special trips for this very purpose. You can read about this amazing work of the Church in Dutch Sheet’s Paint Your State.  I received word of this border anointing just after returning from a trip to see family and wondered how I could still help while at home.  Let me share how Jesus has called me to join the “painting” of the states and perhaps it will inspire you to do the same!

Almost every morning, I take a walk down the country road where we are temporarily living in a camper.  The road goes over Interstate 90 and up into the mountains.  As I walk across the I90 overpass bridge, I see oodles of trucks, cars, campers, boats, motorcycles and so forth, traveling from west to east and from east to west.  And so, in the Name of Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ our Lord), I have anointed this overpass bridge!

Then he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers.  Judges 7:16 (NKJV)

I’ve prayed for the Lord’s seraphim angels to station themselves on this bridge with trumpets in one hand and a pitcher in the other like Gideon’s 300 soldiers (Judges 7:16).  As each vehicle passes beneath the bridge, I pray these seraphim will pour their pitchers, anointing these vehicles with the Holy Spirit.  May their pitchers be full of new oil that never runs dry (Psalm 92:10, 1 Kings 17:14-16).  And God’s Spirit will go from Seattle to Boston, from Boston to Seattle, from West to East and from East to West. 

But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox;
I have been anointed with fresh oil.  Psalm 92:10 (NKJV)

The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.  1 Kings 17:16 (NKJV)

I’ve asked the Lord to station these seraphim not just on my I90 bridge, but on all the I90 bridges across the country!  And not just on I90, but on ALL interstate bridges across our land!  So now the oil is being poured out from West to East, from East to West, from North to South, and from South to North!!!  Every vehicle will receive the blessing! Yehovah Rapha, our healing God, will heal this land! And Yehovah Shamar, our Shield, will protect this land!  America Shall be saved!  I command the forward our forefathers founded this nation on in the Name of Yeshua Messiah!  Go, Jesus!  

So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.  2 Kings 6:16-17 (NKJV)

I’ve also asked Jesus to open my eyes to see these seraphim as he did for Elisha’s servant in 2 Kings 6:16-17, so that I can see those who are with us are more than those who are with the enemy. Though blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed (John 20:29).

Another thing I’ve been doing is praying the scriptures.  Many of you know I follow the M’Cheyne Bible reading plan.  So, with the verses I’ve read these past few weeks, I’ve prayed and written in my prayer journal for the USA….

When you have transgressed the covenant of the Lord your God, which He commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed down to them, then the anger of the Lord will burn against you, and you shall perish quickly from the good land which He has given you.”  Joshua 23:16 (NKJV)

…Yeshua Messiah, forgive this nation. Hear the cries of Your children who live here.  Turn hearts back to You! Pour out Your Holy Spirit. Forgive this land! Station Your angel armies at every border and highway and river! 

How long will the land mourn…? Jeremiah 12:14 (NKJV)

...Abba Father, help us to learn carefully the ways of Your people (Jeremiah 12:16) and follow all Your commands and be one nation under God again, a shining light to the world. O My Father, if it is possible (Matthew 26:39) remove this coming shaking and pour out Your Holy Spirit instead! May we repent and be converted that our sins may be blotted out and that times of refreshing may come from the Lord (Acts 3:19).  And that He may send Jesus Christ.  I claim repentance and times of refreshing for America! Come, Holy Spirit, Come!!! 

You have seen all that the Lord your God has done to all these nations because of you, for the Lord your God is He who has fought for you.  Joshua 23:3 (NKJV)

Today’s TEA CUPP:  Please join this “painting of the states,” anointing your state or county or city borders in the blessed Name of Jesus!  Share the unique way God has called you to pray for our nation on the Paint the States website.  Read Jeremiah 18:7-11 and keep praying! See the miracles our heavenly Father will do!!!

All Things Work for Good

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

All things, All things, All things! Not just some things or most things or things that are especially important, but ALL things work together for good!  That’s what God’s Word promises us in this well-known verse from Romans 8:28… And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  

I love God. I love His Son Jesus.  I am called according to His purpose and so I claim this promise. That’s what the first “P” in the TEA CUPP is for, claiming God’s PROMISES. Dear sister, you can claim it, too!  You are called to be His daughter and He has great plans for you!  

As I was reading the book of Joshua in my Bible this month, I saw a beautiful example of this promise.  After their amazing victory in conquering Jericho in Joshua 6, the Israelites suffered a crushing defeat in Joshua 7 because one man Achan had kept the enemy’s accursed booty.  The Lord was angry at Achan’s disobedience, so He did not go with Israel’s army to defeat Ai that first time. Once Achan confessed his sin (Joshua 7:20) and received his punishment (Joshua 7:26), the Lord God was no longer angry and could once again go with Israel’s army to fight the battles. 

In the first battle, Joshua sent about three thousand men who were quickly chased away by the people of Ai.  This is where Romans 8:28 came in!  God used even the failed first battle at Ai to trick the enemy. In the second battle, He had Joshua station ambushes on the far side of Ai, unbeknownst to the people of Ai.  Then Joshua himself lead the group that marched up as at the first.

Then I and all the people who are with me will approach the city; and it will come about, when they come out against us as at the first, that we shall flee before them. For they will come out after us till we have drawn them from the city, for they will say, ‘They are fleeing before us as at the first.’ Therefore we will flee before them.  Joshua 8:5-6 (NKJV)

The Israelite’s followed the plan.  When the people of Ai chased Joshua’s army they fled as in the first battle, then the ambush attacked the city and set it on fire! When the enemy looked back at their city, their hearts melted and Joshua’s army turned back and pursued them all.  Read Joshua 8 for all of this exciting story!  It’s so neat how God let their first failure trick the enemy and they won the second battle! HalleluYAH! Praise Yehovah!

Yet, that is not the only Biblical example of Yehovah God working all things for good… what about God turning Sarah’s barrenness into the miraculous conception and birth of Isaac. What about David’s sin with Bathsheba producing the wisest king Solomon and the continuation of the genealogy of our Messiah, Jesus?  What about the prophet Daniel returning with the remnant to Jerusalem?  What about Paul’s shipwreck bringing salvation to the sailors and island people? And most of all, what about God turning the sin of Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit into a Seed that would one day be our Savior, Jesus Christ?

And so, I claim Romans 8:28 as a promise for my life. Nine months ago, I had to flee my home due to mold.  The enemy has been pursuing me in all kinds of ways… health issues, homelessness, pains, tears, despair, loss of pets… but like Joshua, I seek the Lord and keep pressing on and claiming His promise to work even this for good.  We are more than conquerers through Him who loves us!  

Just look how God has blessed us this summer… my old Bible study leader invited our animals and us to stay on her property.  A friend from our fellowship loaned us their beautiful camper.  With food and clothing we are content, yet still we pray for that new home Jesus is preparing.  Yes, we still have tears. Yes, we still have dark nights.  But we are confident that, yes, God will work all things together for good because we love Him and we are called according to His purposes!

Dear one, how can you claim this promise in your life today? If you are in a difficult relationship, God will use it for good.  If your children are prodigals, God will use it for good. If you are broke, God will use it for good. If you are hungry, God will use it for good. If you are hurting, God will use it for good.  If you are sick, God will use it for good.  If you are mourning for a loved one, God will use it for good. If you made a big mistake, God will use it for good. If you are homeless, God will use it for good.  if you are lonely, God will use it for good. If you are brokenhearted, God will use it for good.  In ALL things God works together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes!  

Today’s TEA CUPP:  Read the amazing miracle in Joshua 8 today!  Use the enemy’s strategy against him in your own battles, claiming victory through our Lord and Savior Yeshua Messiah!  

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

For thus says the Lord: ‘Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.’  Jeremiah 34:42 (NKJV)

For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work;
I will triumph in the works of Your hands.  Psalm 92:4 (NKJV)

You are good, and do good;
Teach me Your statutes.  Psalm 119:68 (NKJV)

He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.  Psalm 147:3 (NKJV)

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.  Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)

 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.  2 Corinthians 9:8 (NKJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.  1 John 5:4 (NKJV)

Forgiven 4:7

Romans 4:7 Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.  

Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.  We are the blessed, dear one.  We are the blessed because our Father in heaven forgives us all our sins with the covering of Jesus’ blood on the cross. He no longer sees us as the lost, messed up, broken, bad-choosing, prideful sinners we are — that is washed away by Jesus’ redeeming blood. He sees us as pure children, clothed now in clean robes of white, with hearts clean inside and out, all our thoughts and actions are of Him, we walk in His word and by His Holy Spirit.  We are sheltered under the covering of His wings, like chicks around the mother hen. And any time we want, we can cuddle up safely in His nest, for even the sparrows have a place at His altar. But He does not make us stay there, He allows us to choose to come and go and grow and bring others into HIs family. And lest we wander too far from Him, He calls us back. Oh, dear one, bless the Lord for blessing you with His forgiveness and covering.  Always remember the cross and how Jesus bled and died for you and rose again. And stay close in His Word and prayer always, sheltered under His wings. ❤️ Amen. 

Leviticus 4:7 And the priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of meeting; and he shall pour the remaining blood of the bull at the base of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.  

Here we see the Gospel story of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.  Leviticus 4 describes the sin offerings God ordained for His people Israel. This involved an animal without blemish (4:3) being sacrificed by the anointed priest at the tabernacle, for there was no forgiveness without the shedding of blood.  When Adam and Eve first sinned, God had to shed the first animal blood when He made them coats.  This is God’s Law, it’s how He ordained our purification, and yet still we could not sacrifice enough perfect animals for all our sins. So, God the Father sent His only Son Jesus to come into the world to die for our sins. He had to remain pure and spotless to be the perfect sacrifice. Jesus not only gave His life and shed His blood, He was also the anointed Priest who poured it out and interceded to the Father on our behalf.  And, just as the blood was poured out by the Tabernacle door, Jesus is the Door, the only way to heaven, everyone must enter through Him by accepting His free gift of salvation. And thus, we will all be sheltered under our Father’s Tabernacle forever.  Believe in Jesus, dear one, believe!  Come Lord Jesus, come!  Come Holy Spirit, come!  Come, Emmanuel, come!  ❤️ Amen. 

And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.  Hebrews 9:22 (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7 (NKJV)

In summer 2022, the Lord called me to write 4:7 Petitions, Prayers, and Proclamations…  I heard the Lord saying, “Pay attention to 4:7!” I started reading every 4:7 verse in the Bible. When there wasn’t a 4:7, I read the closest verse. I used these verses as Prayers, Petitions, and Proclamations to the throne room of Christ our Savior. The Song: Jesus Heal Me Now

The line of ladies stretched from the altar to the back of the sanctuary and up the middle aisle and never got shorter as more people kept joining it. We had heard from the Bible, stories of Naaman being healed from leprosy, the Israelites looking to Moses’ serpent on a pole, and the bleeding woman of the Gospels. Now from the worship leaders came this song which began woefully as a cry for healing, yet ended in jubilation.  As we learned the tune, we began singing along with the words on the overhead screen.  Many of the lyrics hit home as we had cried them many times while reading God’s Word, wondering, “how long, O Lord, until it’s my turn for healing?”  With each Gospel story of Jesus healing someone, we had prayed that miracle for ourselves and loved ones.  Would this be the day those prayers are answered?  Will our service today tip the scales of heaven and send the Father’s healing mercy raining down upon us?  The ladies stopped at three stations before the altar, first visiting one for repentance and deliverance, then a second for anointing with oil and healing prayers, and finally, the third to partake of the Bread and Cup.  Volunteers and pastors who also had experienced pain and healing in the past were compassionately leading the prayer stations, giving comfort as they themselves had been comforted by Jesus.  And as the healing began, we sang on…

Today’s TEA CUPP: Today’s prayer song is for all who suffer from mold toxicity, chronic pain, long covid, vaccine injuries, cancer, autoimmune disease, heart issues, lyme, abuse and all other afflictions.  This song is a prayer for you… sing it in the shower, the car, everywhere you go… let it be Your healing heart-cry.  We will shake heaven and bless Yehovah Rapha, our healing God!

I see a vision of healing services with ladies singing this song over and over as dear hurting souls come forward to the alter, some carried by their friends. The ladies receive the healing for which they have cried, longed-for, and prayed. The Holy Spirit moves and their families come, too. No power of hell nor scheme of man can stop the flood waters of His healing Spirit as it moves across our land. Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved! HOSANNA! HALLELUYAH! GOD BE PRAISED!

More Mold

Then the priest shall come and look; and indeed if the plague has spread in the house, it is an active leprosy in the house. It is unclean. And he shall break down the house, its stones, its timber, and all the plaster of the house, and he shall carry them outside the city to an unclean place. Leviticus 14:44-45 (NKJV)

I broke down the day I read these verses in Leviticus.  I’ve read Leviticus every year for 30 years and I don’t think I’ve ever cried, perhaps was confused, but probably never cried.  It was just too much for me to be reminded of our home we lost.  Our rental house was overtaken by mold and we are still searching for a new one.  Our bodies continue to be in pain, too.  The same day I read Leviticus 14, our youngest son and I were sitting together reading his school book, the section was called, “We love our homes.”  Oh, the tears came running again!  

Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of family and friends. He sent from above, He took us; He drew us out of many irrigation waters.  Yet indeed we also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord, for whom we have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that we may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having our own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

I thought it was time for a MOLD update.  Many of you know we left our rental home in November 2022 due to a horrible mold outbreak.  We were hoping to be back in it before Christmas, but the owner decided not to repair it. So, in January 2023 we tossed 7000 lb. of belongings and put the salvageable items in storage. We’ve been staying at a guest house the Lord graciously provided until we find a new home.  Today I share an update using Bible verses I’ve read recently.  It’s neat how we can always find our story in God’s Word…

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For to us it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake. 

My flesh has been in pain over it, and my soul has mourned over it. Even today my complaint is bitter; my hand is listless because of my groaning. But Abba Father knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. For our God has tested us; He has refined us as silver is refined. He brought us into the net; He laid affliction on our backs.

 But as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Montana: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many.

But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel.  I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. We went through fire and through water; but the Lord will bring us out to rich fulfillment. And I will hope continually, and will praise Jesus yet more and more. We have learned in whatever state we are, to be content: We know how to be abased, and we know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things we have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.

Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; Cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!  Look on my affliction and my pain, and forgive all my sins.  Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed, save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise. Unless the Lord builds a house, those who build it labor in vain. Oh, Lord you are my strength.  My God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Blessed be God, who has not turned away our prayers, nor His mercy from us!

It is Finished!

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. John 19:30 (NKJV)

Who Can This Be?

So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”  Matthew 8:27 (NKJV)…So the people bowed their heads and worshiped. Exodus 12:27 (NKJV)

O Father, O Jesus, I come before Your throne, sitting at Your footstool with my usual tummy ache, thankful for Your care yesterday, sad that I still hurt, sorry I complain, still hopeful You will answer my cries, yet even if You don’t, I still bow and worship You for You are the Lord God, Creator of heaven and earth. You are the Word made flesh. You sent Your Son to be my Savior. You died and rose again for me and all the world. I believe and worship and glorify You! Just as the Israelites bowed and worshiped before Your great deliverance from Egypt, I bow and worship You before Your healing and new home come. I love You! I believe in you! I exalt You with all my heart! Be glorified today, my Lord and Savior, Yeshua Messiah, my healing Father, Yehovah Rapha, my Victory, Yehovah Nissi! I love You!!

But He is unique, and who can make Him change?

Who are You, Father God? Who are You, Yeshua Messiah?  You are God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords and my KING and my LORD. You are the Great I AM who called Moses and still calls us today. You are Unique and Unchanging — no One is like You, LORD, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever! All Your plans succeed. You do what You desire. You are the Christ, the Only Son of the Father, who came to save us, dying for the sins of all the world on the cross, rising again so we have eternal life.  All I can do is bow and worship at Your footstool, love and praise and glorify You, now and forever and all eternity!

O Father, O Yeshua, I love and praise You! You are in heaven, sitting on Your thrones, covered in a cloud, hallowed is Your Name.  Like a halo above an angel’s head – You are above all!  Your kingdom is coming! It came at the Asbury Revival and revivals of times past.  It came when You walked this earth. It came with each person who receives Your Holy Spirit. Yet it is coming for all eternity when You come again and reign and create Your new heaven and new earth with Your children who love You. And you will hang the earth again on nothing! O Father, O Jesus, let Your will be done and Your Name be exalted above all! We glorify Your Name this day!  

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever… 2 Corinthians 11:31 (NKJV)

O Father, O Jesus, my God and Lord, blessed are You forever and ever and ever. None can stand against You, not even Leviathan, the dinosaur of old. No one preceded You.
