Let us continue to go and pray before the LORD. Zechariah 8:21 (NKJV)
My friend, how was your year? Did you spend time in prayer with Jesus? Did you share a TEA CUPP with Him each day?
Perhaps you are discouraged because He didn’t seem to hear your prayers? Are the answers slow to come? Do you still need a job? Did someone die whom you begged God to let live? Has a friend betrayed you? Have your children wandered from God’s straight and narrow path? Is there something else causing you dismay?
My friend, please continue to go and pray before the Lord. Things will get better. Our God is faithful and true and will remember you. Claim His promises…
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9 (NKJV)
“In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJV)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Use God’s Word to pour your heart out to Jesus each day…
Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to You, I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the Rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:1-2 (NIV)
Hear my prayer, O LORD,
And let my cry come to You.
Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble;
Incline Your ear to me;
In the day that I call, answer me speedily. Psalm 102:1-2 (NKJV)
Let Jesus speak to you through His Word. Read the Bible and a favorite devotion book each day. My favorite is Our Daily Bread…
Give 2011 to Jesus. Set a time for TEA each day with Him. Be encouraged, my friend! Keep praying!
