Bearing the Burdens

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 (NKJV)

How strong is your TEA CUPP?  How much TEA can it hold?  Have you tested your CUPP to see if it breaks?  I think you will find your CUPP unbreakable and able to hold as much TEA as you need each day.  You can use it to bear the burdens for your family and friends and complete strangers.  Just add them to your TEA CUPP Prayers each day.

Some of you might be new to My TEA CUPP Prayers, visiting for the first time.  Let me review for you what My TEA CUPP Prayers are all about. This is a prayer outline for pouring out your heart to Jesus each day, using God’s Word as conversation starters.   Each letter of the acronym stands for a different part of prayer.  You can scroll through my left side bar to read more about…

T = Thanksgiving
E = Exalt His Name
A = Admit my sins
C = Call for my life
U = Understanding my story
P = Promises (claiming God’s)
P = Petitions (pouring out my heart)

The best way that helps me remember to bear others’ burdens is to write their names on a prayer list.  I have a prayer book mark on which I list each person.  Others’ burdens aren’t too hard to carry, because as soon as I share them with Jesus, He carries them for me and lets me have His lighter load…

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)

Please send me a comment if you would like a book mark sent to you to help you bear each others’ burdens! You can read more about my bookmark in my archives…

Who am I bearing burdens for today?  Well, there is a big list, but two very special girls are on my list…Emma in Minnesota, recovering from a fall out of her wheel chair.  And Callista in Montana, preparing to have a tumor removed from her leg.  Dear Jesus, please heal these sweet girls…

“Peace, peace, to those far and near,”
says the LORD. “And I will heal them.”
