Over the past few days we’ve looked at how God’s Word can point out our sins and  how we can use God’s Word to help us admit our sins.  Today I want to share with you some of the best verses of all, those that tell us we are forgiven!

There are so many verses that God gives us as assurance of forgiveness. These are a few of my favorites:

as far as the east is from the west,
so far has He removed our transgressions from us. “
Psalm 103:12 (NIV)

“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.”
Isaiah 1:18 (NIV)

“I, even I, am He who blots out
your transgressions, for My own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.”
Isaiah 43:25 (NIV)

“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
Jeremiah 31:34 (NIV)

When Jesus saw their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Luke 5:20  (NIV)

Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Luke 7:48 (NIV)

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NIV)

I write to you, dear children,
because your sins have been forgiven on account of His name.
1 John 2:12 (NIV)

I encourage you to underline these forgiveness verses and others in your Bible. Claim these promises as your own.  You are a forgiven child of the King!
