E is for Exalt

“Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let Your glory be over all the earth.”
Psalm 57:5 (NIV)

“But may all who seek You
rejoice and be glad in You;
may those who love Your salvation always say,
“’Let God be exalted!’”
Psalm 70:4 ( NIV)

The second part of my TEA CUPP with God is EXALT. Our God is an awesome God! He deserves our praise every day! Exalt means to praise, acclaim, admire, honor, extol…simply to say, “GOD, YOU ARE GREAT!” But how can we find words that are worthy of Him? The perfect place, of course, is in God’s Word! His Word provides us with numerous opportunities for praise.

I find the Psalms have some of the best praise verses, but often I’ll find a verse in another book, also. So keep your eyes open as you read your Bible.  Here’s a verse God set before me one day:

“Your ways, O God, are holy.
What god is so great as our God?
You are the God who performs miracles;
You display Your power among the peoples.”
Psalm 77:13-14 (NIV)

Reread these verses again. Oh, the glory and radiance we bask in, as we praise God with His Word!

Have a beautiful day, exalting God!
